Hi Pete, I use to keep up with those drivers but you also have to keep up with the newer released video cards. If you go to the Nvidia site they will list what cards will go with the new released drivers. About every new released driver are for the newest video card.On the oldest cards after about 6 months or so the released drivers have really no effect on the older cards.Check out the released notes and you will see what I mean...good luck...Mike

There seems to be an advantage wit these drivers. Check here:

I don't see any difference, but then I don't have the latest and greatest card.
Changed NVinspector vsync from application controlled to 1/2 refresh rate.
Ran with fsx.cfg vsync forced on and then commented out.
Will continue using in case it fixed something else I haven't noticed yet.

Well Ive got a GTX560Ti so I downloaded the driver and have noticed a slight positive difference in certain aspects on my pc, but not so much in the sim unfortunately. However It has not no noticable negative impact on performance, on any of my "system's" processes. Well that I can tell anyway lol. :D

Second impression:

Does not help me raising target fps, appears to attain my 22 fps more often.
