The city had the gates opened this morning at Union Street Dam, so I decided to wobbly walk my gamey legs down to the river for a low-angle panorama. Four images were taken at 35-mm (equivalent of 50-mm in 35-mm film photography) and stitched in Microsoft ICE, then post-processed in Photoshop. What appears to be a digital speck in the middle upper is actually a barn swallow. They occupy nearly all of the bluebird houses along the Riverwalk trail. I don't care, they can eat their weight in 'Skeeters.
