Hiya Gius,

This seems to be a very difficult order to fill. All the links one finds mentioned in Google searches are long dead.

You may already be aware of Manfred Moldenhauer's web site. But if not have a look:

SCASM: the Scenery Assembler (http://www.scasm.de/)

The online documents section may be of some use to you.

Cheers

Hi gius,
I asked arno about the tutorial, his reply was,

Hi RJ,

It's a very long time ago I used that tutorial. I tried to search on the internet for it, but it seems all links to it are broken. I don't have an offline copy myself I am afraid.

I hope it can be found

Try simviation:

You might just ask for a solution to your problem, instead of searching for the lost document.

Thanks to all you for your suggestions and efforts,
but fortunately i can say i have found a solution to my problem: with some freeware programs i have found on the net (Eod 1.0.25, cityBuilder, Gmax and Modelconverterx) i am now able to group several objects in a single one and also to add LODs, with an evident benefit for the frame rates, without any scasm programming:guinness::guinness:. If someone is interested i can reveal the process i am following...
GoodBye

Hi gius.
if you have time to do a tutorial on the subject I will include it in the next issue of the magazine coming out in July. Can you include screenshots. I use open office.org 3.3 it a good free program as you can add hyperlinks.
Many thanks.

Hi gius,
I prefer .otd format. I use open OfficeOffice.org or .rtf Rich text format. I I knew how to add a .pdf to a .pdf a .pdf would be fine.

A couple of other PDF freebies that are also recommended:-

http://www.pdfill.com/freewriter.html

http://www.debenu.com/products/desktop/debenu-pdf-tools/ (previously known as QuickPDF)

I use both a lot for my PDF, document, and image work.

Looking forward to the next magazine and any tutorials on SCASM !!!!!!!!!!!!
