ok, so i am doing the rocket launch mission, and of course i failed,
(my first attempt) but after the launch is scrubbed i manage to get the caravan to finally land. i return to the carrier, catch the wire, and turn around to see this bizzare site:

can anyone tell me what is going on there? does everyone's mission do this or just mine? what happened?

ahhhhh, you must have selected multiplay mission. As clearly that is Panther coming in for a smooth landing :costumes::d....

ahh, i got a good laugh from that! :icon_lol:

now i wish i had photoshop so i could have doctored it up some and made it appear that way in the beginning. it would have made a neat story.

I knew that was Panther the first time I saw the pic. It diffinately was a classic " Panther Style " was'nt it ?:costumes: (minus the fire)

can someone tell me what in the heck i am supposed to do to this caravan to get him to land? i have done everything other than deliberately ram his aircraft and he flies around as if he doesn't see the F-18 that is on his left, right, in front of, behind him, over and under him. i have literally flown around him in a circle and he just ignores me. if i had guns i would have already shot him down a bunch of times. what is the trick? it says i am supposed to fly up on his left and rock my wings. he never seems to see me untill they scrub the mission.

Once you rock you wings, start flying away and drop your gear, the dialogue is a little slow for the mission.
