I don't know if anyone is working on designing a navion, but I have one apart in the shop now and could take pictures if you want.

I have been working on one for over two years now. The external model is 95% complete and the VC/internal model is about 65-70% done.

Pictures are always welcome but the things I need most at the moment are dimensions for flight control movement in the cockpit. Things like control yoke fore/aft travel distance and distance of yoke from panel at neutral elevator. In addition I could also do with the amount of rotation of the yoke left/right in degrees from neutral.

I also need the amount of travel on the throttle, mixture, prop pitch and cowl flap levers and the amount of movement on the rudder pedals and toe brakes if fitted.

If you could supply any of that info I would be eternally grateful as it is very difficult to find those dimensions online and all my manuals (including the owners manual, service manual and parts catalogue) fail to cover those areas. With those dimensions I will be able to get accurate animations in the VC.

Thanks Tom I appreciate your offer. I will grab some current screenshots tomorrow so you can see how far I have got with it. My plan is for an initial release of a modernized version (but no glass cockpit as I like 'steam' gauges) with two different tip-tank versions (old and new style) along with the non-tanked version. All versions will have the one piece glass all around.

I then plan on doing the 'A'/L17 model with the split glass and the original style panel layout, again available with both tip-tank styles or without tanks.

I plan on doing the Twin Navion after that one and I already have a contact who can hopefully get me interior shots of that so that I can build the VC.

Here are a few screenshots as promised. The outside is partially textured but the inside still needs mapping/texturing for most parts except the gauges.

Thanks Tom, those photos will be extremely useful when it comes time to animate those parts (which will be right after I sort out my current gauge/switch issues).
