The SGT500 cars are Japanese sportscars that all have 500 bhp and styling and colours coming directly from a manga cartoon. Good fun to drive though, and the sounds are some of the best I've heard in GTR2 so far!

The CSGT Holiday preview.
GT cars from three classes, including the Porsches 911S, 914, 906 and 908, Chevron, Corvette, Ferrari 365 and Mustang.
The models might not be the best around, but they are framerate friendly and the physics are very good.
Had a great fight at Le Mans with a 908 against a Corvette, N.A.R.T. 365 and several Chevrons. The Vette and Ferrari are faster on the straights, but the Porsches and Chevrons will make up time through the corners. Could have won if it wasn't for a little mistake I made in the last lap.

I was onto the CSGT package a few days ago, yes indeed, the modelling is a bit 'basic' but the dynamics are very good, in fact, I'd go so far as to say the 911 is the best representation of the real thing out there.

Off to D/L the 1998 CART prologue, missed that one and they're my kind of open wheeler!
Speaking of open wheelers, the v2 Japanese F3 package is even better than the original version, and I rate it as the very best open wheel series so far, the cars really behave, sound and feel like the real thing.
One of my younger friends owns a 3 year old Dallara Mercedes (which his wife races!) and Garth had to pry me out of the cockpit after 10 laps around Philip Island IRL ........:jump:

I've never driven on a real racetrack myself; the only real racecar I've sat in was a Toyota Yaris and that was stationary...

The JF3 v.1 was pretty good indeed, I should really get the V.2 too (Since a Dutch driver won the title this year..! ;) )

Actually I slightly prefer the 1995 Indycars over their '98 counterparts; more of a handful, but also more rewarding if you can really get the power down. The '98 cars come very close though and I'm looking forward to the full season pack.
