This one has even been difficult for the native Russians on one of the non-PT development sections of the Project Tupolev forum. I'll perhaps ask around for help, but everyone there is a bit perplexed by its operation too (due to poor documentation).
This is one of those aircraft that requires you to reset your joystick controls using an internal module unique to the aircraft, but it's apparently not user friendly at all.

Again, I'll investigate this addon, but if you want something this complex but with good English-language documentation, just stick with PT's Tu-154B-2 for now until (if) we can get the operational aspect of this addon sorted.

If you want to have a little fun with this native FSX Tu-144 without the hassle, leave only this in panel.cfg:

[Vcockpit01]
file=$VCPANEL.bmp
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=1024,1024
visible=1
pixel_size=1024,1024
texture=$VCPANEL

gauge00=Tu144!cmWingTip, 50,45,10,10
gauge01=Tu144!cmCanardTip, 50,60,10,10
gauge04=Tu144!Baklan1, 265,100,250,112
gauge05=Tu144!Baklan2, 266,227,247,110
gauge06=Tu144!dme1, 268,339,260,108
gauge07=Tu144!dme2, 777,0,244,101
gauge08=Tu144!RSBN_pult, 519,1,256,157
gauge09=Tu144!Kurs_vpp, 5,361,260,87
gauge10=Tu144!ZPU_VC, 783,107,45,18
gauge11=Tu144!kmp_hdg_1, 269,448,200,197
gauge12=Tu144!kmp_hdg_2, 826,271,199,196
gauge15=Tu144!RMI_vc, 272,647
gauge16=Tu144!IVR, 586,594,438,430

CTRL+E works with this dirty trick. Circle in red indicate canard wings lever and nose (but nose doesn't work with my hacked panel). Hope Sean will sort it out...

Have you looked at the one on Simviation? - http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=tu-144&x=0&y=0

Top one says it has been fixed for FSX (haven't tried it though).

Have you looked at the one on Simviation? Top one says it has been fixed for FSX (haven't tried it though).

It's a portover of the old FS9 version by Thomas Ruth (this version is nice but dates back to 2008, or even earlier).

The new TU-144D version from avsimrus is FSX native, but unfortunatly there is two areas I cannot understand yet:
- the joystick configuration (that's why the point of view changes if you don't configure your joystick with the included tool)
- the fuel management system (like in the Concorde, fuel is automatically transfered between various tanks to adjust balance, but it's not easy to configure, and that's why the Tu-144 jumps up and down on the runway like a kid on a trampoline)

Sean, help!
