P3D v2 ?

Just read a question on another forum which is ...ok, we can port our models to P3D but what about when v2 comes out with , maybe, DX11 ?

I'm going to use only a small portion of my common sense, and say V2 isn't going to destroy the compatabilty of addons that work in V1.


The P3D code is the FSX code with improvements, therfore FSX models in P3D aren't really port-overs.

According to the team at P3D, Version 2 is about a year off.

We might get some more updates though. Presently its at Version 1.3 and the team are always polishing up the code, making improvements here and there. They also have a 'input' room at their forums. So if you have a request, put it in there.
