I've always thought the first generation Corvettes were the best looking ones.

I'm fond of the 58 - 1960 models myself, especially in Inca Silver with white coves

Nice pics! I love Corvettes, and hope to one day pick one up from the factory...a bit of a pipe dream, but a guy can dream, right? I also like Stingray's, particularly a '73 Stingray in silver. 61873

Hey All,
Yeah If you have to be stuck with a corvette - 62 was the best year as it still had a trunk, could get a 4 speed, hardtop and a 300hp 327.

An edit: If you were trying to race those early corvettes you probably wanted to go home if you ran up against one of these.

I've always been partial to the 63 split window myself. Even so Corvettes still have a very good family history. :salute:

I was only 8 or 9 years old back then. But now, in my advancung years, I'd have to go with the '63 Split-window Stingray. But, if it came down to a choice between it and a '62 Roadster, it would be REALLY close!
