With many thanks to 'mike5ta' I have received a copy of off2.
My copy of CF3 (XPLOSIV version) arrived a couple of days ago.
Every thing is now loaded up and working fine.
Fine, doesn't quite describe it ............. Wow! What can I say? A very well done to all those involved. :medals: :applause:
All I have to do now is save up for a better computer .... again!
I am off for a quick jolly in the old kite and I hope not to prang it this time.
Thanks again.

Hi Raffy
I am glad to see Mike was able to assist you.Did he also send you a complimentary crate of his home brewed beer?:costumes:
Off P2 is an amazing sim in itself but just you wait until P3 is released.
We are all waiting in great anticipation for what I firmly believe will be the seminal WW1 sim, transcending and surpassing by a substantial margin all others.
If P3 remotely lives up to its billing we are all in for a treat of the highest order.
Best

Hi nio,
Alas no beer it wasn't a big enough envelope. But the disk was just what the doctor ordered.
I have already placed my order for P3 and I am now waiting with eager anticipation with the rest of you. in the mean time I have a lot of catching up to do with P2.
Contact ............... chocks away!

Gimpy Guy has lots of tweaks- Nio, lots of good info - PD, a huge number of down loadable missions - Catch 22 - prose and video to entertain - C Grinder does many add ons, Parky - a Terabite of knowledge on PC"s, Polovski - great guy, and the list go's on and on.
Cheers,

Hello everyone, I'm also new here, reporting for duty - pending arrival of my copy of CFS3 and OFF P2.
I've been flying IL2/FB for several years now, and wonder if there's an online flying community similar here - like dogfight servers and coops? Also, any squads? Are the BA's here?
Thanks, and can't wait to get my crate up over no-man's land!
PS: Thanks to Henry for getting me past the registration gauntlet! :ernae:

When Microsoft Pulled the Plug on the CFS3 server, as a cost cutting move, 99.9% of the OFF online activity ceased.
Cooperative missions still exist, see the Boys of 60th Squadron :ernae:

That's a pity. Has anybody contacted Jiri at Hyperlobby about putting OFF on his server?

To be honest, I have no idea, but there's no OFF game, there's a patch of MS CFS3, things have a way of getting complex, as soon as the word Micky$oft gets mentioned. :kilroy:

Flatspin,
Glad to see you are on your way to the front!
If you are looking for online fun please come and have a look at the Boys of 60.
We only fly coops against the AI. We used to fly OFF P2 but we are mainly into Il-2 now. Our esteemed CO, host, and primary mission builder, Pilotsden, will host again OFF sessions once P3 is out.
Check your PMs for details.
