Last weekend was the 54th annual Cactus Fly-In held at the airport in Casa Grande, Az. Dad and I flew out in the Thorp along with a friend who had recently completed his. I got lucky and found some good pics online taken by Mr. Chris Kennedy, who was willing to share the original files. The originals are pretty huge. I'm planning on getting some hi-def prints made and framing them up for my Dad. I'm the co-pilot in these shots.

There is a natural vent system that consists of an adjustable "door" at the rear of the canopy that allows a fairly surprising amount of air to blow in from the rear, and it works well. The original design engine was a 125hp Lycoming 0-290. It is fairly common to see one that runs a 180hp 0-360, we are using a 150hp 0-320.
