Hey Huub, your shots look a bit oldish. :costumes:
We've just today finished painting and modelling, current progress is not really visible in the above screenshots.
Gotta get a new beta out to the testers later tonight.
We're about to add the last bits of code and polishing touches and should be ready for release by early January.

I honestly believe this is the most impressive aircraft i have even seen developed for FS, with detail that could only be appreciated by a scale model builder, the 190 is my favorite aircraft of WW2, not that it matters but how much will she set us back?

Death_Eagle, below is what I just posted to the testers, working title so far is "Fw190A, the early variants".

We have 9 different models and 32 liveries in the package.

A-1, the first operational Fw190.
This one had two MG 17 in the upper nose,
two MG17 in the wingroots and two MGFF cannons in the outer wings.
Equipped with the BMW801C engine. This one never carried droptanks.

A-2, the wingroot MG's replaced with MG151/20 cannons, along with modified ammo counter in the VC.
The outboard MGFF was from the A-2 onwards optional so all following variants have two models, one each with and without the outer wing cannons.
Planes without MGFF naturally don't have the MGFF ammo counter in the cockpit, the location is covered with a blind instead.
Also the oil pressure gauge's dial has the reading changed from 10 to 15.
This one has also added fixed cooling slots aft of the exhaust stacks, the socalled "Kiemenspalten" since they remind somewhat of fish gills.
All models from here carry a droptank.

A-3, no visual changes over the A-2, the first one to receive the improved BMW801D engine.
Like the A-2 there are variants with and without the outboard cannons.

A-4, changed the radio equipment from FuG VII to FuG 16 which required a new tail with a T-shaped antenna.
New radio equipment on the left side console.
This was also the first version to use bombs on a wider scale so it has also the bomb switch apparatus added and bombs of course.
Later version changed from the fixed cooling slots to adjustable flaps, lever located on the lower panel slidely left hand.
Four models: with and without MGFF, old slots and new flaps, in all combinations thereoff

A-4 high altitude fighter with external air intakes, there's no designation known for this plane, and most likely it didn't have any. This modification was tested under the designation A3/U-7 in an attempt to improve the 190's weak performance above 6500 meters. The test planes had a number of other changes, mostly weight reduction related, but the operational A-4's aparently only received those intakes and none of the other mods. There's some rumour that also A-5's have been equipped with this thing but there's proof only for the A-4.

There's also one other "variant that we won't mention yet since it may be subject to changes. :kilroy:

The later A-5 to A-9, F and G variants will come in a separate package sometime post initial release.
Purchasers of one package will be able to get the other at an upgrade price.
