Out of curiosity, Roger, is the pilots scarf animated to blow in the wind? It would be a great effect.

In the past the standard GAS pilot did have the wavy scarf but I think the team have decided to leave that pilot model behind

We haven't used that in a few years. This is a new pilot figure and he prefers his scarf neatly tucked in. (Perhaps he's learned a lesson from Isadora Duncan) ;)

The below screenshot shows a pearloid or MOTs (mother of toilet seat) panel and in some pictures I found someone really did do this with their panel. The planes have their own vcs to match.

never knew the dutch used em?

As far as I know the Dutch only used the STM-2 and the STM-2S, with the Menasco C4 line engine. The registration R-089 doesn't ring a bell as well.

Nevertheless the model looks very nice.

Check Tesco Offers (https://www.ladysavings.com/publix-weekly-ad/?tesco/) and Lidl Offers (https://www.ladysavings.com/publix-weekly-ad/?lidl/).

Cheers,

Huub, I believe it's textured to resemble this beautifully restored example based in France (whether it is historically correct, or not ; ) ):

I donīt know the plane in the real world, but isnīt the prop too little in the model? (Comparing to the photos available here and in the net)
Not a criticism, just a question! :salute:

I agree that I thought the same way until I measured it and we're right in the ball park on the prop diameter.

The owner of the Super Ryan has agreed to work with us to make an accurate representation of the aircraft. Here's a video of the plane in flight never before seen until today. He just updated to YouTube for us. Enjoy

The prop diameter on a PT 22 is 90 inches or 7.5 feet and at least according to the tool in the design program we're withinin spec

Nice to hear that. I think itīs the screens perspective that gave me the wrong feel about the prop size.
Iīll buy the plane as soon itīs available. Thanks for your work! :salute:
