Includes Boeing 717, 727-100, 727-200, 737-200, 737-300, 737-400, 737-500, 737-600, 737-700, 737-800, 737-900, 747-200, 747-200F, 747-300, 747-400, 747-400F, 757-200, 757-300, 767-200, 767-300, 767-400; Douglas DC-8-73, DC-9-30, DC-9-50; Embraer EMB-120, EMB-170, EMB-175, EMB-190, EMB-195; Fokker 70, 100; McDonnell Douglas MD-8X, MD-87, MD-90; Tupolev Tu-204, Tu-214. True FSX versions of most, but not all, of the models that AIA has previously released (see "limitations and drawbacks" text file to find out what's not included). These will give better FPS performance in FSX than using the FS2004 models, though with a few FSX inherent limitations. 99.1% compatible with repaints made for FS2004 models (there is a lightmap issue, see the included PDF for more information). You must know how to manually install an aircraft model in FS to have any hope of successfully using these files. Original models by Craig Crawley and David Rawlins. FSX conversions by David Rawlins and Craig Ritchie. Boeing 747 reconstruction by David Rawlins.

This is nothing short of a dream come true!! Wow!

Yes!!! I saw that too! Very nice! But it appears that it has some flaws as not spinning fans, not spinning wheels ... as such. But i will test for sure! :salute:

Question: What happens if we have some fsx models and some fs9 models? (For the rest of the packages like the airbuses that weren´t upgraded). Is it valid to update just some of the AI packages? Can we have some performance gain in this situation?

Well, I guess that more native models equals more stuff done by the GPU meaning less workload for the CPU meaning more CPU time for other stuff meaning better FPS.

I think I can live with the drawbacks. I just want better performance at ORD, JFK, ATL, LHR, etc...

Waiting for the day that all WOAI Ai are FSX native. Surprised it took so long, since FSX has being out for quiet a while.

As far as I know, the WOAI guys mainly develop for FS9, as does anyone in the AI model business.
AIA doing native models might just be nothing more than a favor. (A big one though.)

Anyone know if this means you may merge another FSX native VC interior model into these ones or has actually done it?

expat,
But why would you want to add a VC to an AI model? Framerate issue or particular model only available as AI? I'm sure it can be done using the same methods (alias) as adding a VC to another flyable model.

Any good FSX native flightplans to go with these?

AIG makes their flightplans with an AIFP2 .cfg file that will port in nicely. Regardless, you still need a program to change FS9 to FSX FP's, I use AIFP2.

Swapped these in to my WOAI packages, just changed the "model=" line in the aircraft.cfg. Only noticed some of the night textures issues, but overall they look just as good as the FS9 versions. Haven't noticed any major framerate increase, say at PHX with all the Southwest 737's running around.

A: I like the various private/VIP/BBJ repaints (e.g. by Daniel Fall) available for the 727 and 737 AI models not otherwise available or for flyable payware a/c or that I don't have.
