Considering this is a fairly raw 'beta' it is looking very promising.
Love the open wheelers [even with the understeer!] but the Megane is a dog.
And the 'Old Spa' is great, even if I do keep turning my F2 car into a canoe ........ :applause:..................just follow the skid marks!

Not! I do plan to get it, but there's a lack of time and money at the moment..

How's the backward compatibility, Wombat? Do the rF1 mods still work ?

Not sure Ferry but I doubt it, the file 'packaging' is very different to rF1.

1960s Monaco + 2 Litre Formula 2 car equals big grin!
replay interface is far too cluttered for my taste but I expect that to be sorted sooner rather than later.
The weather is 'interesting' when it rains at a circuit like Monaco!!!!

And for no special reason, my favourite 'Cup' Porsche in NFS 2.

There has been talk that rF2 deals a lot more with tire wear. Can you see any effects of that on the tires themselves wth the openwheelers wombat?

ENTER will give you a clean replay screen, wombat. I just bought and tried it. Only because of the 1960's cars. It's not THAT much of a spectacular upgrade compared to rF1 but i like it. Camera views in Replay mode are at Insert/Home/Delete/End/PageUp/Down and Numberpad. Helicopter view is cool !

cheers,
jan

Eddie, I haven't managed enough laps to check tyre wear before crashing!!
There is some deflection of the tyre wall under side loadings that can be noticed.
Jan, thanks for the tip.
