I'm having trouble finding many current reviews... anyone? Or a comprehensive rundown on what to look for/avoid?

I'm still having trouble finding very good info on LCDs. I am still in need of solid info if you have any!

My 6 year old CRT is acting very flaky some days, others it is fine. Doesn't seem to be temperature related and it gets clean power. I think it is time to put it out to pasture. It is the last piece of hardware I have that is so old it is "computer beige" :costumes: and being a 19" tube, it is quite a desktop hog.

Cratermaker,
You might want to check out a Dell, heard today that they are getting out of the LCD business,so prices should be down to get rid of their inventory.

I got a SOYO Topaz S 24" wide screen from Office Max for $300 and love it. 1920X1200 res, brite, responsive, haven't seen 1 dead pixel, and the cheapest 24" Wide Screen I have seen. :ernae:
