Can anyone help with a photo of the 60s/70s tower at Little Rock AFB. Ar. I suspect that the one there now is a recent addition?

Thanks for that. Better than I found ( zilch). Looks to be in roughly the same position as the new tower. Fairly standard tower for the period I'd say. Could be brick or painted concrete. I'll stick a pin in a list :) Looks like the fire station behind. :applause: :guinness:

More than likely looks something like this one. It was probably built within 5 years of the LRAFB one. LRAFB tower had vertical windows rather than horizontal ones like this picture, though.

Note the control cab was hexagonal as was the style back then rather than the octagonal ones we regularly see nowadays.
