Just finished building a Simkits USB air speed indicator for my panel. Construction and calibration was no problem and it works fine except for one problem. When flying along straight and level, I suddenly dive or spin, the gauge indicated airspeed goes crazy and the pointer swings back and forth between low and high speeds.. After leveling off to a constant speed, it recovers and indicates correct airspeed. Could it be that the gauge has a slow response time (PC board or servo motor) and can not follow rapid changes? Has anyone else had this problem?
