For you Kiwi guys, just a reminder that this coming weekend ( Jan 28 & 29 ) we have the airshow at Tauranga.

http://www.classicflyersnz.com/

I'll be there helping on the flight line with display aircraft parking and flying one of the Stearman in the formation display.

See ya there.

Pete.

It was rumoured that the Hunter might fly at the show.
True?

We hope so.

The crew have been hard at work on routine maintenace over the last 3 or 4 weeks. The seat is back in and ready. I think CAA are doing their inspection tomorrow.

We live in hope.

Hope the weather is as kind to you as this weekends TVA show at Hood. It's normally not to bad at the Mount.

Will also be there (already have tickets)..can't wait ..especially keen to see the Hunter and Strikemaster, the RNZAF A109 and the usual WW2 stuff (haven't seen the two seat Spitfire yet so this would be a highlight) ...and to try out the new camera at an airshow (finally!)

The aircaft have been listed in the local paper includes amongst others:

Hunter
Two Spitfires
Kittyhawk (not sure which one)
Corsair
L-39
Stikemaster
A-37
Vampire
Pitts 12
MX-2

Great ..... ask at the shop for me, we'll grab a coffee together.

I've got a few flights over the next couple of days, but if we time it right I'd love to catch up.
