View Full Version : FSX Learjet very low quality textures inside

As you are all familiar with the Lear 45 Buisness Jet in FSX, it looks horrid the textures are shocking. Anyone know anyone working on or has done a HD texture overhaul inside the plane. Finally got nice sounds for it but now the textures ruined the paining.

The default Learjet looks quite good and the textures are OK.
Sure they are not high resolution like the recent addons, but they still look very good.
Here is one of the old pictures I still have from the default Learjet:

If it doesn't look like that, then your video card settings are not set properly.

I did have a look, current textures for lear 45 do look like the image indeed, just got used to seeing Careando's planes such as the Beechbarron 58 compared to the deafult one or the Cessna 208

Go into your FSX.cfg file and look at this section and ensure that your "Texture_Max_Load" isn't set like mine was (which caused all my default aircraft to look fuzzy) at less than 1024.

That got me curious to check my fsx.cfg file and the texture_max_load reads 4096 :kilroy:
