Well, if you have your Windows didks and if this is a self built PC, I would put the windows disk in to the tray, close the tray and reboot your PC. Now make sure you have your CD ROM put at the top of the Boot up list.
When it boots up you should have the options to repare, or insatlled a fresh copy. But before you can do that you need to delete your hard drive partition, other wise known as a reformat, and it should let you do that if you just follow the options. Then reformat your drive agian, but don't do the quick format. Now I have never done a quick formate, but taking your time, and doing a full format can save a lot of pain. Then you should be able to select the new partition to that you just created and install windows XP in to that, then from there it should be smooth sailing.

Reminder to copy anything from your My Documents that you want to save. Also might want to copy down info on your internet connection if you have to manually put it back.
