. . . working on converting Milton's A-26 to FSX-native? Is that still underway; or has it fallen, as so many projects have, to the persistent intrusions of actual real life?

OldSalts LAS-S26 works great in FSX Accell. Just had to get R2800 sounds and used one of my MAAM replacement props. Not going native, but I am going!!!!
