I just finished watching the last episode of the TV show (formerly on CBS), "Hack" on Netflix Instant Watch. It was only on for two seasons on CBS from 2002-2004. I'd never heard of it until it showed up on the Netflix Instant Watch list, and decided to watch an episode. I was hooked from the first, and watched all 40 episodes.

"Hack" is incredibly well-written, directed, and produced. The main actor, David Morse, is (in my opinion) one of the finest actors in the entertainment industry. Every single episode of this series is filled with drama and action! Not since the series, "24", have I been hooked on a tv show. For those of you who have Netflix, I strongly recommend you give this show a try. I would be most surprised if you didn't agree with my assessment. Other actors in the show are: Andre Braugher (Law and Order),George Dzundza (also Law and Order), and several other great actors.

I would go back to watching regular tv if more shows were like "Hack". This is one show that makes watching tv worthwhile; seriously!!!

There are a lot of good, well written, TV shows popping up on Netflix, that got the 'axe' when they shouldn't have.
I blame 'reality' TV, I really do. :icon_lol:

Another one I really like on Netflix is "Life on Mars" (US version)

You might like it if you loved "Hack".
"Life on Mars" had Jason O'Mara, Michael Imperioli, Gretchen Mol, and Harvey Keitel.

It is about a NYC detective who is run down by a car in 2008, and wakes up in 1973. Or, ... is he? :icon_lol:
Really can't say anymore, as it would spoil the plot, but interesting how criminal investigation has changed in 35 years.
It's a little mind bending at times (in a great way), also great cast, acting, writing, and the look of the 70's is amazing.

Not streaming on Netflix right now, but finally out on DVD is "Boardwalk Empire". (First season)

Martin Scorsese has a hand in it as Producer, as does Terence Winter who wrote"The Sopranos".
It's set in the 1920's during Prohibition, and has great writing, cast, acting, and 1920's period stuff is incredible.
