If I still lived in Camarillo I would definitely be at CMA to watch the takeoff(12:00-ish I hear).Very happy to see that the last Camarillo Connie is going to a home where it will be taken care of.:applause:

Visited Chino many times, when I lived in CA. What a great place! I'd be there to watch a Connie land, oh yes.

Thank you for posting Cirrus!:applause:
So odd to see that Connie in the air(as opposed to rusting on the ground, the way I use to see it when I lived in Camarillo).

I would love to watch a version of that Connie landing without the freaking music. Those of us who love radial engines know that the sound of a round engine is all the music one ever needs in life.

Great to see.

I never flew on a USAF EC-121, but I had a bit over 1,200 hours on EC-121K, EC-121N and C-121J Connies while I was with VQ-1.

Will it be on display only, or still flyable?
