Thanx to the Wonderful GAS Super Models of the PITCARIN PA18 and the PCA2..We are able to visualize AMELIA. in her extraordinary exploits. said she had only a 15 minute check out in Autogiros..she also set an attitude record on a PITCARIN...as well as her famous Beech-Nut Transcontinental Autogiro Tour.
First woman to fly an autogyro (1931)
Altitude record for autogyros: 15,000 ft (1931)
First person to cross the U.S. in an autogyro (1932)
