I was surfing the news sites and found several things on a British Destroyer class ship
is hailed as the largest ship now in the RN?

Doesn't the RN have Guided missile cruisers now??
I realize that the RN is rather smaller then in the past..

I was shocked to read a Destroyer Class ship is hailed as the largest ship the RN has now..
When did this happen??

I thought our largest ship now was a rowing boat.

What news site were you on, because it was wrong; hope you've not been reading the Daily Mail. No, we don't have any cruisers any more, but the largest ship currently in service with the Royal Navy is HMS Ocean (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Ocean_(L12)), which is an amphibious assault ship; and we also have HMS Bulwark (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Bulwark_(L15))and HMS Albion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Albion_(L14)), which are both LPD's - Albion is, however, currently being hed in a state of 'extended readiness'. Then it is the rowing boats ......

That Browning M2 is more than ample propulsion for that little thing, you may have to bail out the casings before you end up taking on water and subsequently sinking :icon_lol:
