Arado 196 repaints

Hi all,

I'm looking for a skin to throw on the Alpha AR196. I found some by Stalin for fs2004 in the archives but I get an 404 error. Thanks!

Tobob,

did a search under 'SteveB' as that is 'Stalin' as he is known now, nothing showing. Searched Avsim and Flightsim, no joy. I remember Steve releasing these paints, but not sure if I have them, sorry.

I don't believe OBIO ever uploaded his for the Alphasim bird, but when I PM'd him about them a few months back, he was kind enough to send me them, for 4 different AC, excellent work as usual from Tim, so you might want to try to sweet talk him into sending you copies

I have checked all my old backups and have failed too find the Arado skins. If anyone has them feel free to share them or upload them again.

I do have some part done skins which need completing, I had another go at the Alphasim Ar 196 about a year ago and have built up some layered paint shop pro 7 masters, I will get around too completing and uploading the new skins but it wont be for a few weeks. If anyone would like to have a go at some skins and want my masters just PM me an email addy and I'll send them out via yousendit.

BTW: On my PC the Alpha version gets better FRs than the SG version.

I have the Finland and a Norway 1945 white scemes part done, and the German and Swedish plane that became the white Norwegen. was plannig a three pack on that one.

I'm kinda looking at some of the German raider skins- bogus Jap, Grench & unmarked.. Might make fodder for some interesting missions or even campaigns.
