As Robert is up to his neck in projects like the P-61 and Pazmany it seemed right to get a new moderator to help Pam with the duties here.

I'm sure many of you know Tom Stovall from his many repaints and more recently for his work on the FsX Iwo Jima project so please give him a warm hand... "Stovall":applause::ernae:

As a matter of fact I think I was, after all it is New Years. The rumor is Roger waited until he knew I would be celebrating. Just kidding.

This is definitely an honor and I feel I have some very big shoes to fill. Thanks for the opportunity to serve.

Thank you to everyone for the kind comments. This give me something to do while I wait for Roger Wilco 66 to return from southeast asia (on vacation). Once he is back I will be receiving his updated Solomon Islands object file and I will be finishing up the Iwo Jima scenery. Sorry, I just had to throw that one in there.

Here are a couple more pictures of the upcoming production. This has been a real learning experience for me. Something beyond just placing objects.

Very well done for stepping into the breach Tom :salute:

This got me wondering about the kind of 'guidance notes' SOH staff might have for moderating us all... AH!! there must be a mission statement or similar me thinks - and indeed there is. I have to admit it's ages since I read it. If I did, it was when I joined SOH. Anyhow, I wonder if we've actually taken any note of the 'Terms of Service' we signed up to when we joined... I'm sure we do indeed.
