Is there any chance that it will include a "Sky Pirates" livery? There is one on the fore court of the Buccaneer garage at Elgin, a few miles from RAF Lossiemouth.

Regards,
Ian.

XV863 Sea Witch/Debbie has gone up for sale here in Ireland recently. Apparently it was originally bought for a quite reasonable £5300 back when it was demobbed (~5 years ago?). Considering there's not much of a market for her I'd reckon it could be picked up at a very reasonable price now!:icon_lol:
Hopefully this one will be considered by the repainters too.:guinness:

Are we talking Ravenclaw's RAF and FAA S2 models for SFP1 and 2? I've been flying that in SFP1 waiting for the Flying Stations one(s) to finalize ... that's a mighty fine model in SFP1, likely the best SFP1 mod in recent years (along with Flying Stations' Wyvern for that sim). I'd be happy to fly that in this sim for sure! And of course, I'm hoping the Flying Stations S2 will materialize soon too.

One can never have too many Buccs! :icon_lol: Or, to borrow from the pilot fraternity of my other favourite plane (Crusaders) "When your're out of Buccs, you're out of bombers" ... :icon_lol: OK - I know, technically it's a strike aircraft ...Check Foodland Catalogue (https://www.ladysavings.com/publix-weekly-ad/?foodland/) and Foodworks Catalogue (https://www.ladysavings.com/publix-weekly-ad/?foodworks/). but the alliteration didn't work quite so well ...:running:

Looks correct to the specifics of a late S2 cockpit, with the coaming-mounted altimeter, and other gauges on the right side that aren't there on the S1 or earlier S2 - well done.

the Jaguar is FREE to download, and you can happily get it. The Buccaneer is going through BETA, and we allow our CLUB MEMBERS access as BETA testers. THis is a perk of paying for a membership. Once Beta is done, you will then be able to download it for free. So, if you want it now, you will have to join our CLub, if not, you may wait until it is released as a RC version, when it will be free

FDE specialists are thin on the ground, and now matter how many times I ask for volunteers, no one ever wants to help, so you will get it as it is. I have it flying level above 300 knots, below this, it will pitch nose down, but adding some flap will correct this. The model comes with the usual customisable options, so you can pick and choose you own weapons on various pylons, like we have done with our Tornado, Harrier and Jaguar Packs

Agreed - have been flying the rivets out of that model in SFP2 - and it's a sheer beauty in that sim. I'm going to say top 10, if not top 5 non-commercial (as in, not counting Third Wire's Downloadable Content) add-ons for SFP2 in the last year. Ravenclaw did a magnificent job on it.

Looking forward to this model for sure ... may spring for it in Beta mode ... can't say no to any Bucc that comes my way ... :)

Please note, the way our system works on our site, there is a flaw, which means you will get that warning screen on EVERY download. But, what is does not say, is that you CANNOT download. It says, IF you CANNOT download, this is the reason

so, you ACCEPT the warning, and if you have the correct permission, it will download, if not, it will not, so please try again

Sure, he is (supposedly) NOT paying for the model (the model is FREE) but paying for the bandwidth it takes to keep the files (at the ready) (for MEMBERS) to download. Hello! I got my hands on the Bucc with a huge thanks to UKMIL reactivating my club membership(after the mandatory email change/anti-spam policy). It is a very nice model thus far and the VC looks great. I am currently working on updating the airfile and cfg file to try and get the flight dynamics up to speed(I'm doing this separately from Hank who's more of an expert on this than I am) but hopefully it will turn out well from one or both of us. Will try to get some screens posted of the model & VC after my tweaking is done later this evening.

Okay, with several hours of tedious work, I've managed to get the FDE feeling a lot better. As a reference I went off the Flying Stations Bucc S.1 but the UKMIL S.2 was close enough on many of the tables that I didn't make that many changes. Obviously the S.2 being a heavier and more powerful animal than the S.1, the two different models(Flying Stations & UKMIL) are going to fly differently but I did my best to stay within a respectable/believable FDE without cloning the other(the S.1). I'm pretty much satisfied with it except the need to iron out the yaw factors a little as there is a little bit of wallowing when banking back wings level out of a turn but this issue is minor. I also fixed the fuel consumption rate and a couple of other things in the cfg file. There are a few bugs to iron out in beta but near as I can see, they are minor(all the beta testers and devs know the ropes at this stage of finishing a project is like, the cake is baked, now time to add the icing!). I have a feeling this is going to be a very popular model when it comes out. So, as promised, here are some screens post FDE work.

Well I tried 2 days! So it's SOMETHING. Maybe not 'pay first'. Maybe XML? My AV won't allow xml to run/install/change registry/call home, so maybe that's it? Probably.

Ok, so I overreacted. Sorry about the put down Gaffer. I always have liked UKMIL stuff very much. You're the hardest working bunch in the sim world. I know you guys.

I worked last 2 days on your 'old' Buccaneer S2 to see if you would take my FDEs for it. I got it spec. Luck. No. Took your air file and 'polished' it and made changes to cfg file. You say not to make ANY changes to any file in your downloads, so I am hesitant to offer my files (or rather, YOUR files, with modification). Ah well. It's the same ole story: 'He said-She said'. Then nothing gets fixed due to 'xyz' getting in the way. (That is what hurts). I'm out.
