I have got to say that this plane, the Vertigo RV, and OV-10 are my fav's of the year. I love how Baytower is doing the development of the RV-7 offering out the beta as it progresses to completion.

The big addition in this update is the new panel sounds.
We’re getting ever closer. There are still a few outstanding tasks to take care of.
Among them the flight model and the autopilot need a bit more polish.
I'll post the remaining work in the next few days.
I hope everyone has a great Christmas break http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

UPDATE TIPS
-----------------------------------------------------

If you're not sure which RV7 version you have...check your userGuide label.
Start > All Programs > BayTower > VANS-RV7 > RV7_userGuide.pfd

Remember; before you uninstall your RV7, make sure to backup any of your changes. For instance...
Backup any aircraft.cfg files you've edited for repaints.
Backup any repaint-folders you've added.
Backup any custom-texture files you've edited.
The uninstall script won't remove files you've added, just default RV7 files.
After the uninstall you may want to browse to %\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\
and delete any leftover RV7 files and folders.

Don't reuse your old aircraft.cfg files to recover your repaints...
Always copy the information into your new aircraft.cfg...the new cfg's are not the same as the old ones.

If you can't find your RV7's Flight1 password, you can retrieve it from the following link:

I have this airplane and the VS RV-8. I find myself liking the RV-7 model more than the RV-8 model, even though I am partial to a tandem cockpit over a side by side cockpit. Bay Tower is doing a good job.
