Hi,

Just wanted to share my disappointment on 737 EVO from WilcoPub.

You know, 737PIC was a great addon and I was thinking it's the best 737s to fly on FSX.
The only problem was that the 737PIC was not originally designed for the FSX.

I only fly FSX now, so I bought the 737 EVO, which Wilco introduces as a "technological break-through",
the 737PIC remade to suit FSX standards.

But actually the external model was awful.
Almost everything got worse from the 737PIC.

54750
simply pushed out kruger flaps and window popped out of the fuselage.
the engine fans are not turning, and also the shape of the nosegear door is wrong.

54749
this is not the shape of the 737...
you see, the shape of the trailing edge flaps are totally different!

5475154748
many moving parts not following wing flex

54747
third element of the inboard flaps on right wing is in wrong place

54745
...so you can't see it from above the airplane

54746
nothing following the wing flex

54752
moving parts are simple plates.
I don't know why but the moving parts like spoilers and flaps move different on each side of the wings.

I wonder what information they've referred to.
Everything was much more realistic with the original 737PIC,
and I think the quality of the 737 EVO's external model is something they shouldn't sell.

Other than the things I've shown above,
they didn't model inside the rear part of the engine cowl,
they designed and assigned the textures pretty rough,
the wing root landing lights won't illuminate,
the floor of the B737-500 is missing,
the shape of the winglet is different from the real ones,
the shape of the fillet on wing root is nothing like the real one,,,

The 737 EVO is really something you fly,
not to appreciate like the other addons.

Anyways, I'll wait for the updates.
I still like the way it flies.

How the heck did I miss this. The missing 300-500 FSX native gap. Off to buy. Plus it works with FsInn a huge plus over V1 where the guages go nuts and stupid and then pass out lol.

I here you. But I got her. Her VC is much better then V1 and it works with FsInn a huge plus and being FSX native. They have a patch in the cooker. The FMC to LNAV and ILS CAT 3 landing works much better then V1 did on W7 64. Also I get better fluidity and frames then V1. So I consider it a improvement over V1. Only constructive crit is price, but being the consumer and this was a serious hole for me needing to be filled it was worth it. I'm not a rivet picker and counter. This fit the bill for improvement over V1.
