Good Day

The superb Fs9 T-33 of Tim "Piglet" Conrad is working
perfectly on FSX Accel/Sp2 !

The shining of silver airframes are fully enhanced by FSX
capacities !

Here is a dawn flight over Québec City !

Really ? It seemed to me that a lot of gauges were incompatible, and that the virtual cockpit was suffering transparency problems (not canopy, which I know how to fix). Am I confusing with another plane ? :isadizzy:

Would you mind posting a screenshot of the virtual cockpit please ?

I ran into some issues with it in SP2 as well. As I recall, the flight dynamics were out to lunch. It still looks nice.

I still confirm to you I have no problems at all.

I am not sure but this could be related to the fact that I use the
"FS2004 Canadian Forces T-33A Pack 1 Updated" ( cafct132.zip )
version with the non-mipmapped textures fixed.

It is really the Tim Conrad original "digital artwork" redesigned and
repainted by Shane Strong.

No problems too to add other FS9 T-33 repaints to this version.

I installed this plane (cafct132.zip) in FSX with SP1 only and don't get any canopy glass showing. Do you know how to fix it? I know it has something to do with alpha channels which I don't know anything about. Thanks, best regards, Bob.

Hello Familton

my T-33 Silver Star is working on FSX Acceleration SP2
( not SP1 )

The only option you have is :

1. Buy FSX Acceleration package ( SP2 included )
2. Uninstall SP1
3. Install Accel.SP2

But this $ option will gave you a super detailed F-18 A/C
Legacy Hornet bonus !!!

Here is a "screen" of this FSX Hornet in a CF-18 425 Sqdn 2006 Demo colors over Saguenay River at dawn, near Bagotville CF Base.

Hi VaporZ. Thanks. I have Acceleration. I just don't want to install it and I don't want SP2. The T-33 works, and looks GREAT in SP1 except for the canopy glass. I can live without it. Best regards, Bob.

The T-33 has apparently been fixed for SP2 in terms of adapting the alpha channels of the canopy glass.

This *could* cause the lacking backwards compatibility towards SP1.

Hi. Thanks. That's what I figured. I don't know how to change the alpha channels myself. Best regards, Bob.

Well, uh...I'm no expert in that either.

Maybe Google knows an answer?

I have Acceleration. I just don't want to install it and I don't want SP2.

?? I thought if you have Acceleration, that necessarily includes both SP1 and SP2.

b/t/w - Piglet's T-bird also works perfectly for me in Acceleration/SP2. I wish other port over and even native a/c worked as well, particularly manual engine start ups, which I find unacceptably buggy in FSX.

b/t/w - further - the Accel F-18 is very detailed a la Falcon 4.0 and IMHO underated and overlooked . .
