I have both FSX and FS9 loaded on my laptop but only fly FSX after a few beer and only when I want to fly multiplayer. :mixedsmi: My laptop is a dual core 2.0 GHz, 2 Gigs of Ram, Nvidia 7950 running Vista 32 bit. With Acceleration and both service packs I have been able to hold a farely steady and stable 25 fps in the backcountry. Well last night I went online and wasn't able to get more than 10-12 fps with a lot of stuttering. I figured it might have something to do with being online so I shut down FSX and restarted in freeflight, no better and I also noticed that FSX is now taking 7-8 times longer to load? I only have a few addon aircraft, no addon scenery and it's been weeks since I added the last aircraft to FSX. FS9 is still running great and will hold a steady 50 fps with no stutters pretty much anywhere? I was hoping someone here might have a few suggestions...I've already defragged my hard drive, run a virus scan and a registry cleaner, non of which made any difference.
