that's native to FSX? Steven D. Myers modeled a 1938 Aeronca K for FS9.
I would sure welcome that relic into my FSX hanger.

I would be more than willing to help with research, photos, 3-views, graphics & textures, beta testing, or what have you. In fact, I have some stuff in my archive.

After seeing the detail put into the Ford Tri-Motor by Tom @ CR-1 Software, this would be a perfect candidate for Tom to produce. :mixedsmi:
I would make a rather hefty donation to the cause if he accepted. :salute:

CR-1 did an FSX native Aeronca Champ, not sure what the difference between a champ and a K is, but:

Unfortunately Steve Myers Fs9 version doesn't port well so until someone makes one for FsX I think you're stuck.

I haven't even tested it yet. I was going through all my resource material last night, and found reference to it. Then I found the paint templates and debated asking Falcon, and other fellow members to possibly revamp it to work. A team effort. I would of course help by doing the art work. Even at that, it would never be complete as it should be in FSX. It's a simplistic model figuratively speaking. Compared to others.
Someone of Tom's caliber modeling it would do the "K" justice.

It's a model issue when there is a transparent oblong that extends from the panel upwards a way. However in FsX that transparency excludes the clouds, autogen etc.
