If you are man who wants to remember the Bell Huey and have a great experience, I know one but I just costs a little bit, but it's the only good looking bell Huey out there.More good news is that, you pay for one model but you get two in the end. The place is called Nemeth Designs. Last but not least, you can have a realistic start up ^.^ What you did not know is every time you start a helicopter in fsx most of have a "hot start" which would mean in real life you just melted the engine :icon_lol:. With the Nemeth's Bell hue you can avoid "hot starts" and slide it into gear gently.

The Aerosoft Huey Is Better Looking! works great sounds great and is friendly

Nemeth does great work I Like his Helicopters I just didnt like how the HUEY looks Kind of Out Dated and the textures does not look as clear and pretty

Right or wrong a Huey by Tolga Piskin has been available at flightsim.com
since 2008. It was originally for FS2004 but adapted to FSX. It's pretty
well armed with rocket pods, miniguns, and door gunners. There are some
repaints around as well.

Perhaps the version from Abacus by the same author is more recent?

as for free there is really only the 2 fs2004 ports overs

the one already mentioned and jordan moores huey from hovercontrol, in this case jordan moores model has a lot more going for it than the other

for payware you have the 3 abacus, Nemeth and the Aerosoft

dont waste your money on abacus, if your after a mil huey the nemeth is the way to go or if your after a civil huey the aerosoft is the way to go

yes the the stock paints are not that flash, but there are a tonne of paints for the ND/milviz helo that out strip the aerosoft huey

the aerosoft has the lower end scale of textures, and that is due to the crappy paintkit from aerosoft , while the ND/Milviz paint kit is overwhelming for most, this produced a plethora of very high standard of paints compaired to the limited aerosoft ones

ive been playing with both kits the past days and you can see the difference in quality in textures between the 2 models

Take a look at the second link. Description say that Tolga Piskin created the models for Abacus and the one hosted on flightsim.com is identical to the Abacus offering. I did try to warn ya:kilroy:

Absolutely, an even simpler translation is that Aerosoft's external textures are and feel artificial and so do some of the Internal. But With nemeth they are ultra realistic and none of the external or internal feel artificial. Plus there are Civilian textures for Nemeth's bell huey(s) which also keep the ultra realistic textures in the model. It should be the only one out there that you can call a Bell Huey in my opinion.

ive said before and i will say it again, i really need to take up proof reading before hitting the submit button

the only draw back with civil textures with the ND bird is 1 the pilot and 2 the b model, where the shading is very difficult to remove on the template where the rockets and guns mount
