I like a good mix of both. Jets are great. Something bout a nice prop to though. I need both.
There are more jets that I am a fan of than propers thought.

Me too! Here's the Firebird....a real airplane. I posted something in the Newshawks about a true story of those women who ferried WWII warbirds. One saw a 'prop' bird with its prop feathered, but zooming past her.
She contacted the tower for confirmation of what she was seeing. The tower confirmed it was a new 'Firebird'.
You might want to google it for details or 'wikipedia' it. I believe its formally called the FR-Firebird.
Enjoy.

that would be the Ryan FR-1 Fireball http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_FR_Fireball only jet-piston hybrid to enter active duty if I'm not mistaken.

Both have their place on my hard drive and in my heart. Props have spinning props, smoke and lovely noises. Jets scream, both in sound and speed.:mixedsmi:

The mo faster it goes, the mo better I like it. :jump:
But, props are cool too. Unless you walk into one.

I like the prop planes. They're the classic. They have more manuverability than jets, and have a tighter turning radius. Jets have more complications, which makes them have more of a possibility for something to go wrong. Prop planes are less complicated, and use less electricity.
