49570Yup, it is implemented now! As I mentioned before here, I am giving a discount of 25% on certain of our products to customers who are pensioners (or should be) and are willing to confirm it.

The world is getting tough enough as it is, without people on small retirement or savings having to pay a bundle for their favorite hobby. So I'll do my best to get as many products in the programme as possible (and allowed by their developers).

For now we have our main aircraft titles lined up, and the Dolomiti X series to follow. Read on HOW TO JOIN on our website (http://fsaddon.eu/wpfsaddon/) and shop (http://silvercloud-store.com/index.php) (check out the 'Info tab').

My pleasure :salute:

The first view customers have already signed up. There will be some teething problems on the shop software, no doubt, but I'll get it all sorted out over the next few days/weeks. So far it seems to work okay :-)

Glad I quite haven't reached that age yet, but thank you for helping out the 'old coots' here that have enriched all of our flightsim experiences over the years.:applause:

I'm test flying my recently discounted Fieseler Storch Fi-156. Woof!!!!!! what a GEM! Detailed to the max..... Haven't had this much fun since I started flying my old 1946 8A Luscombe, "rag wing". way back in 1956....... Yes, the one that the heel brakes never seemed to work and the trim tab control was stuck in the neutral postion........ Oh, don't forget to keep checking that fuel shut-off valve that was sooooo close to your left rudder petal that your left foot kept bumping and moving that all important small chromed lever when you'd get in some trubulance.

So, as you can see I do qualify for the "old timer's", discount. Thank you, François A. 'Navman' Dumas (Silver Cloud Publishing) for this discount!!!! :icon29: :salute:

Sorry I still don't understand the updates.

There appears to be no instruction for them that I could find.

- where should the prop file go ?
- how would the plane know to use the prop file even it is not programmed in ? (change from one file type to another) Do we need to redownload the plane ?
- I don't understand the texture files, where do they go ?
- would it not be easier to have a simple installer, even just a ZIP file, that could unzip the files in the right places ?

Anyone know ?

Hmmmmmm..... these are just simple additions from the author and we assumed that everybody KNOWS how to unzip a file to a temporary folder and then COPY the resulting files to their respective place in the original FSX folders. Millions of FS fans do it every day.

There IS a Readme (instructions) in the mission unzip, also in the swastika file folder. The paintkits files are for those who know what they are doing, as is the prop.dss. The latter is only needed by a select few.

Building an installer takes time (MY time), which I don't have unfortunately. But I hope the above is sufficient info for you to carry on. If not, let me know.

One question.
What is the RAS discount?
For people who feel over 65 till they get their mourning coffee.
And sometimes for a little while after.

LOL !

No, the other two discounts you see on the page are for flying clubs. One is the Misty Moorings club and the other a French club, Rhône Alpes Simulations.
Certain clubs and organizations are helping me with advertising, in return I have a discount for their members on certain products.

Every customer can have only ONE discount though, or I would go broke in a hurry :icon_lol:
