Oddly enough I just received a text message on my cell phone telling me I had been selected to test and keep the new iPhone 5.

It came from 6477704152

647 is Ontario Canada...

That area code is for Toronto so nowhere near me (4 hour drive away) but a quick Google search shows it to be a number used by spammers for this current Iphone scam.
