In early April of this year, 21 year old US marine Cpl. JB Kerns was severely injured by an IED while serving his third tour in Afghanistan. He lost both legs and his right arm, along with parts of some of his left fingers. On Sunday, 25 September, after five months of physical therapy, that brave young man finally came home! I'm proud has hell to say that I was part of that celebration, and that I had the honor of shaking his hand. Two local TV stations did stories for the local news:
WGHP Fox 8 (http://www.myfox8.com/news/wghp-story-jb-kerns-returns-home-ararat-va-110925,0,6076638.story)
WXII NBC 12 (http://www.wxii12.com/video/29297441/detail.html)
But if you really want to see what it looked like, just watch!

By the way, I cross under the bridge at 1:15 in the video - I'm wearing a black vest over a yellow shirt.
