Hi all,
The question that must be asked in this age of white a/c is.
Why do some FS9 a/c show perfectly and others do not. What is the cause. If we can answer this we might be able to fix the a/c that have no textures.

the content that doesnt work under Acceleration/SP2 is typically content that got a half-baked port to FS9 and used older transparency techniques that didn't get support in SP2. as I said in my original Acceleration/SP2 details post - back compat is really holding us back and will undergo a major change moving forward.
as far as modifying this old content, this blog post http://blogs.msdn.com/ptaylor/archive/2007/10/26/3-transparency-fixes-for-issues-with-older-content-in.aspx
might be useful.

Hi Phil,
Thanks for the reply.
So if we con remove the transparencies or change them we may be able to get these a/c to show.Getting the C208 amphibian to show is of particular interest to me as this is one of the a/c I flew the most.

yes, so far this seems to be the ticket for most of the exteriors.
1 of the 3 pieces of advice was for interiors, so if there is a "see thru from inside" problem that too can be fixed.
gauge issues are a totally different story. usually if they dont work that means the aircraft is a half-baked FS8 port, or even earlier.
