Is there a tutorial about rear gunners? I like the bomber missions, but I need to focus on my 12 o'clock, not my 6! :icon_lol:

What I think he wants to know is how to make the AI gunners more effective. Unfortunately, the gunner positions on the player aircraft are fixed, but there are a few things you can do:

1. Fly with invincibility turned on. (Not very realistic, but...)

2. Increase the hitting power of the gunners on the airplanes around you. (Here again, not as realistic, but I would rather do that then get shot down.)

3. On your aircraft, set the tail gun with a damage dice of 1d1*10000 or so.

This way, if you hit something, it only takes one or two hits to shoot it down. I would suggest you reduce the range of the weapon, so you don't shoot down a friendly aircraft. You would do this by dividing the desired range by the muzzle velocity.
For example: Muzzle velocity is 800 meters (2624 feet) per second. To get an range of 500 meters, time alive would have to be adjusted to 0.625 seconds.

4. With CFO Weather, click on "Alien Death Ray" and watch as all enemy aircraft, vehicles, and ships in the area are destroyed. (Least realistic option available)

For options 2 and 3, you will need to tweak the DP file. Make a backup of the original, and delete the CDP file (If you don't, CFS2 will not recognize your changes. It will be rebuilt the next time you run CFS2.)
