This is truly amazing workmanship,...with landing and taking-off aircraft as well as taxiing refueling, etc..

The Germans are masters of modeling. You might even get candy from the vending machines located in the terminal.

I suppose there are limits to the complexity.. but at least they are not frame rates!
Imagine being in charge of lightbulbs...

The airport is just a part of the Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, it's just the latest addition.
It's actually the largest model railroad in the world.
If you ever come to Hamburg it's well worth a visit.
