Very nice repaint there, though i dislike the model (the aircraft type, not the modelling).

Out of curiosity, what is it you don't like with the design?

Nose, cockpit.......actually i think the entire aircraft is....ugly (IMHO).
The FSX version is very well modelled, and the paints are really great, but that does not change my opinion regarding the aircraft type. Glad the U.S. went for different types if it comes to how it looks. It's performance and capabilities are a total different discussion.

Edit: Looking at the plane, it somewhat resembles something the Chinese came up with the last decennium (at least parts of it)..... Another CAC-clone? Talking about the J-10....

The nose is probably a result of this being a CTOL derivative of a VTOL design. I actually started modelling the VTOL variant first but switched to this because VTO implementations in sims tend to be dodgy.

My opninion regarding the aircraft will not change (matter of taste) nonetheless, Razbam did a mavellous job in bringing this machine back to life. :salute:

Hae5904, in its turn, did some excellent repaints for it (including the German one)! Thanks for sharing, Hank! :applause::medals:

heheh.. From a side angle it reminds me of an angry woodpecker, and from the top it reminds me of that little hooded dinosaur from jurrasic park that ate that slob of a programmer :;lol:;.. only time in my life i cheered on a dinosaur .. None the less, with flaps control in the canard, the planes maneuvering remains above others. The appearance does grow on you though. it just takes time..

Remember too, on this plane, the flaps arent there to help lift the plane. they are there to lift the nose. The engines do the rest of the work.. Dropping the flaps by even 7 degrees ( about an inch ) is going to push that nose into a much tighter turn.. try it :) you'll like it :)

All in all...this is a real nice plane to fly along within FSX!
Did you know you can reach FL700.....within 5 minutes from brakes release.......:jump:

The JaboG 32 repaint is uploaded here on SOH!!

Cheers,
Hank

....what a coincidence....my 201st post for my first upload of the F/A-201 repaint.....:engel016:

Wow, this looks better in German clothing than she does in USAF. IMHO of course. :wiggle:
