Lovely car Ed and typical of the Georges Paulin style.
He did a series of similar designs for Marcel Pourtout on Talbot and Delage chassis, along with the outstanding 'Embiricos Bently and a superb Peugeot Darl'mat 402.

As an aside, Paulin was a leading member of the French resistance network 'Albi', along with several designers and coachbuilders, operating in and around Vichy.
The 'Albi' group were betrayed to the Abwehr by the Duexime Bureau in late 1941, Paulin being swept up in the net and executed in March 1942.
Some 450 people made up the 'Albi' network, all betrayed by their fellow countrymen who feared that the own espionage network with the Duexime Bureau would come to the attention of the Gestapo...........:kilroy:

It's interesting,........how the French can create some of the most elegant automobiles....such as this one,....and also build some of the ugly-weirdest cars too......
