Question about upgrading Ted

I have the E6600 and really cant complain about frame rates. I do want to move up to the 3 ghz 6850. Should I buy now, or will prices go down significantly after christmas? In the upgrade I am also adding another 2 gig of corsair memory and a new motherboard that supports the 1333 fsb.

According to the retailer's pricing schedules more big drops are due in the next two weeks.
