Well, this guy obviously was able of a short-field landing!
It happened yesterday in Stockstadt, Germany (not too far from Frankfurt/Main). News are reporting of an engine failure, pilot and passenger are said to be slightly injured.
Luckily enough, there were no speed bumps applied to this road...

Cheers,
Markus.

Amazing he got her down as well as he did. Damn good landing. I'd be interested to know what the emergency was.

PS. American N-numbers in Germany?

Seems to have been a close call. I bet the locals ceased enjoying their Sauerkraut-pies as nav lights flashed by just above the fences.

It probably is, but better not establish any culinary opinions before tasting personally.

Looks like he did an awesome job getting it down in that narrow lane without causing any 'collateral damage'. Gotta give him a pat on the back for that.
