Okay;
Now that Jax has enlightened me on replacing stock ships I am trying to redo the whole fleet. Anyone know of a good replacement for the SHA_Tanker? I seem to remember a "Neosho" class tanker from somewhere but can't seem to find it again. Any direction?
Also, if I want a Hog Islander to show up can I just re-name it SHA_HogIsland ( in all relevant spots of course) or is another method needed?

You know you are going to have to create 2 new SHIPS folders right? One for Europe and one for Pacific.

I've done just that. I have what I call my consoldated ship packages that are zipped up ship folders for the German Navy, the Italian Navy the Allies, the Japanese Navy and one called Cargo Ships for all theaters. When I build a new CFS 2 installation, I just unzip the one I need from the hard drive and then copy it's contents into the base folder of the new installation in order to have the majority of the ships that I'll need. It also contains an Info folder with a screen shot of each ship for the Mission Builder's info window as well as an effects folder with the FX files for each ship if they need one.

This allows me to taylor each theater quickly with proven ships with just a single copy and a single paste operation to install all the ships, effects and info shots into the new installation.

Attached is a shot of my consolodated cargo ship folder in case you would like to try something like this. I also have the B-24 Guys updated planes done up this way as well as weapons and library object packages. It saves a lot of time and effort.

Erufle;
I'm aware of that. In fact I already have a seperate ship folder for the FoxFour Korea and all other theaters, as well as mdlnames and some other folders like Info..

Jag; I was working along the same lines as you have alluded to. In fact I worked/divided my mdlnames folder into seperate addon sections that have the caption titles ;; out. As a example, I then divided my ships folder into ship class, with sub-divisions for nationalities and year. Made it easier to add ships and ensure of no duplicate entries.
Before I did this I found that I was getting some duplicate mdlnames entires that were hard to locate.
