Payware - Just Flight
Ohhh, very interesting. I always knew, just show me a picture - "this was AH and JF!". Product of AH have special, dedicated kind of textures. Now... hmm, I am surprised. I see new kinds of textures from AH - new quality ? Not with poor level of resolutions. VC looks more realistic, not a toy. Very well done. I am surprised at all. Congratulations!

YoYo - Thanks for the feedback. Yes, this aircraft features some excellent texturing that I'm sure many simmers will be glad to see. Its a definite 'step up' from previous products in the texture department.

Bit too far off for a realistic release date at the moment. We are beginning the beta testing phase now, so hopefully it should be ready for release in Q4 2011.

The model is an 800 series. The Viscount had numerous variations due to the multitude of options that could be ordered by the customer. SO paints supplied will be as close as we can get to the originals. Repainters can do what they like of course!

This model has many interesting little additions like "true" trimtab operation and many bespoke coded animations for the cockpit. We're also at work on a "proper" representation of the Smiths type gyropilot in 3D for the VC. So far there have only been 2D versions of this instrument.

I too grew up with Viscounts (well actually DC3s and then Viscounts:icon_lol:) So you can imagine my pleasure when we were asked by the JF boys to do one.

For those not too familiar with the Viscount (a truly classic aircraft), check out this website for info and ideas on re-paints when the time comes! One of the last UK operators was Richard Branson's Virgin!
