I think I know the answer but thought I would ask anyway. Is there anyway to replace a 3d gauge or maybe cover it over with one in the panel.cfg. (Yes I am still wrestling with the Iris BD-5G) :kilroy:

Unfortunately 3d gauges cannot be altered as they are part of the .mdl file.

Was afraid of that. Too bad, maybe I can put some tape over my monitor where that rpm gauge is and just use the manifold pressure gauge. lol.

The upside to 3D gauges is they look really nice. The downside to 3D gauges is that you can't remove or move them. They look nice, but whatever the developer wanted you to have is all that you will ever have.

Because it's something that is expected these days. If they didn't they would hear about it. A reason why FS9 remains a viable alternative.

I'll be damned if someone sincerely BS'es a freeware dev for not doing 3D gauges in his models.
