I posted this in the newshawk section too, but if you're like me, I only visit the FSX section, not a reflection on the website, but my primary interest. Mods, if this is a faux pas, my apologies, but know there's more than a couple PNW dwellers within the FSX forums.

"Those living in the PNW can access McChord Field to check out the annual Air Force Rodeo. Those not familiar with the rodeo event, it's an worldwide airlifter competition and the ramp is absolutely full with C-17s, C-5s, C-130s and various other airllifters from around the globe. So, while unable to access the ramp area, there is an airlifter park next to the taxiway and provides a fantastic view of the various planes in all their camo splendor.

If you are not retired or active military, you must get a visitors pass which requires license, insurance and registration."
